Spring Must-Have- Floral Kimono
Ok y’all, I promise you will not see too many style posts from me. Particularly because my daily momiform of leggings and t-shirt aren’t exactly shop worthy.
BUT, as we go into spring, I wanted to share one incredibly versatile piece I’ve been LOVING.
I know these were all the rage last year. Let’s just say I’m late to the party. But I got one this year from none other than my fave online boutique, Pink Blush, and y’all- I. Love. It.
This particular one is floral, which is no secret that I love. (My husband thinks I own too much floral. What does that even means?!) It’s lightweight and neutral colors, so it’s perfect for Charlotte’s warmer spring, and it goes with almost everything I own. The pattern is cute enough that it can also be a nice pop on a basic black dress. I have it styled three ways to show y’all how I wear it!
(And not pictured, but I fully intend to take this to the beach this summer and wear it as a coverup, as well!)
So this is probably my favorite way to wear this! I’m a pretty basic dresser (ie: boring), so throwing on jeans and a tank is my go-to! I love having this kimono to just add an extra layer to make the outfit a little more interesting. And since NC has decided to start blasting the AC, bonus for an extra layer!
A little dressy
This is actually the outfit I wore to church on Easter! I know most people wear a dress…I like to be a rebel. (Actually, full disclosure, I just didn’t shave my legs for a dress. It was also super chilly.) I looove these blush pink pants, and they go so perfectly with this kimono and a white top! A neutral heel, statement necklace, and patterned little clutch make this a new-go to for a date night or girls night!
And lastly, I love this kimono with a basic black dress! It dresses it up paired with a fun wedge and simple clutch. Add in a little drama with a red lip and BAM, mama- you’re ready to sweep your man off his feet!
