3 Month Old Zoey

Happy Fri-YAY friends!

This is not related to my post- but I used to be a restaurant manager, so I actually used to dread Friday’s. They were like my Monday’s. Since I’ve been home it’s been so nice to actually look forward to a Friday like the rest of the population! Thus my Fri-YAY!

Moving on.

T H R E E   M O N T H S

Ya’ll. Sweet Zoey is T H R E E months old today! (I think. She was born on March 31st, and I haven’t quite figured out how that works when you’re in a month that doesn’t have 31 days. Is it the 30th, or do you wait until the 1st of the next month? Lemme know.)

3 Months With Zoey

She has such a sweet little personality! If you smile at her, you are pretty much guaranteed a smile back. She is cooing and starting to giggle and it’s adorable. She loves her big brother and gives him the biggest smiles; it melts my mama heart!! (I would have a picture, but seriously, anytime I pull out my phone or camera Oliver runs in the opposite direction. #toddlers)

Sweet as she can be, Zoey is definitely not an easy baby. We’re gunna be honest here. She is on medicine for reflux, but she’s showing signs of the same belly pain with lots of spitting up. She fights sleep like craaaazy and typically takes about an hour to actually fall asleep. (I’m going off of caffeine to hopefully help this. Pray for me.) She is content in her swing or on her playmat for approximately 0.00356 seconds before she wants to be held and bounced. Baby-wearing is saving my life. But despite all the tough times, we are so grateful for this little cutie!

3 Month Update

Zoey is actively trying to find her thumb and sucking on her hand all the time! She nurses every 2-3 hours. We do have a pretty champion sleeper on our hands (once she actually goes to sleep); she’s waking up once during the night to eat and still takes a 3-4 hour nap in the afternoon! She hates the car seat but is seeming to like being outside already! We have also taken to calling her Zo-Bo. Please don’t ask me why (I have no idea!).

This next month will hold her first beach trip and her big brother’s second birthday- I also think this might be the month she rolls over!

Have a great weekend, friends! Any fun plans?? Sound off in the comments!

Have a phenomenal day!
